Hi - that was an interesting presentation. I came across this article last week that seems to suggest that strong ties are more important that weak ties.

Just wondering if you had any thoughts on it yourself? I'm not sure if strong or weak ties are more important, but the article raises some interesting questions.

But nevertheless, a very nice presentation :)

Great presentation. If you don't mind, I'll log you as a potential speaker at future events focused on marketing trends.

I happen to believe the zeal over purely social networks is a bit OverTheTop right now, since so much economic activity is happening in B2B where I'm not sure the wild wild west environment of Facebook et cetera will dominate. But what is great about the social network phenomenon is that it merely reflects the millenia old patterns of good old human nature!

Second attempt (error in movable type) so I'll be brief. I think it's important to be mindful of the difference in decision making process between the consumer space (facebook) and the b2b space (smaller online communities [vs. social networks] around more specific topics of typically more complex interest.

But the preso looks great -- are you available for additional speaking opps?
